To make it easier for users to utilize the AI service, a new floating action button has been added to the UI. It is situated above the “Start chat” button in the lower-right corner.
Google tells users that Gemini AI works on Android devices more or less like its standalone counterpart, even if the feature isn’t available to everyone just yet, according to GSM Arena.
With this connection, users may go on having discussions in Messages while offering commands, getting information, and asking inquiries.
Note that Gemini AI does not read private communications, demonstrating its respect for user privacy.
The AI chatbot does not encrypt communications end-to-end, so users should be cautious when disclosing sensitive data.
Along with offering storage adjustments from the default settings of 18 months to 36 months or as low as 3 months, Google also gives users options for managing their chat history with Gemini.
